The Slow Coffee method includes a fundamental step called Blooming. This extraction method consists of slightly moistening the coffee beforehand to achieve a pre-infusion, for about thirty seconds. This is possible with this coffee maker thanks to the resealable valve and will allow the aromas to be released: gases caused by the roasting process escape and leave room for the aromas to expend their full potential and thus obtain a full-bodied and aromatic coffee. This valve can also be used as a "stop-drop" function when removing the carafe.
