Producing Ethiopian Coffee
- Takele Mammo's experience
Former Managing Director of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU) for 12 years, Takele ran one of the largest coffee cooperatives in Ethiopia, ensuring a quality supply.
- Local partnership
Takele works with local growers to supply cherries to several washing stations, enabling it to offer a wide range of coffees to roasters around the world. Takele also has an office and a dry grinder in Addis Ababa, strengthening its network in the coffee industry.
- Altitude and environment
The Konga washing station is perched at an altitude of 1,900 metres, in the heart of Yirgacheffe, one of the eight woredas of the Gedeo highlands. This region, surrounded by unspoilt primary forests, boasts an ecosystem rich in biodiversity.

Yirgacheffe is world-renowned for its coffees of exceptional quality, thanks to its unique terroir and traditional farming methods that highlight local know-how.
