A Balanced Arabica/Robusta Blend
Caffè Vergnano introduces Antica Bottega, an iconic coffee beans blend from the renowned Italian brand.
Here you’ll find everything that made it such a success:
- a coffee crafted from the finest origins: discover a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans from Central and South America, as well as the Dominican Republic.
- a very dark roast: a roasting style perfectly suited to both espressos and milk-based drinks.
- roasted in Italy: Caffè Vergnano roasts its own coffee beans in Turin, following a meticulous method tailored to each origin. Here, a slow roasting process is used, lasting between 18 and 22 minutes.
- an unforgettable tasting experience: before delighting the palate, it pleases the eye. A beautiful crema appears just minutes after extraction, crowning your cup. Antica Bottega contains, among others, Arabica beans, which is reflected in the tasting with a gentle, lightly tangy opening, followed by the discovery of a coffee with a full body and rounded mouthfeel. The intensity is well balanced, aromas are ever-present, and the finish is delightfully chocolatey.
We recommend enjoying it in the afternoon.

Caffè Vergnano, A Long Coffee Story
This Italian house has been creating coffee for four generations. With 135 years of history, it has become a true reference in the world of coffee. Founded in a small Italian grocery shop, the brand quickly mastered every step of the journey, from roasting to coffee sales.
Success soon followed, but the brand reached a turning point when it acquired a plantation in Kenya. This is why it pays such close attention to the selection of its origins and continues to establish itself as one of the most sought-after producers.
At a time when so-called “turbo” roasting is often favoured, Caffè Vergnano chooses slow roasting to truly highlight each bean’s origin. Across the brand’s range—from coffee beans to ground coffee and capsules—you’ll find quality labels that guarantee both excellence and peace of mind.
Caffè Vergnano
Caffè Vergnano is a company that boasts a long and prestigious history.
The company was founded way back in 1882 by Domenico Vergnano, grandfather of the current owners, who set up business in the small medieval town of Chieri, at the foot of Turin Hill.
The true vocation of the Vergnano family became apparent very quickly: in just a few years they mastered the art of coffee-roasting and selling.
